Who Offers Seminars on Sports Osteopathy?
There are a number of osteopathic schools offering seminars related to the field of sports osteopathy. National University of Medical Sciences offers an online and in-campus seminar titled 'Improving Athletic Performance Through Manual Osteopathy" to health professionals such as osteopaths, chiropractors, physiotherapists, athletic therapists, kinesiologists and massage therapists.
In this seminar attendees learn a number of pulsed sports osteopathic techniques that can be immediately applied to their clients to improve flexibility and motion while preventing injury.

What Continuing Educations Programs are offered for manual osteopaths?
The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMSS) offers the following four continuing education post graduate courses and seminars for manual osteopaths (more seminars are being added):
1- Improving Athletic Performance Through Manual Osteopathy
2- Management of Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD) of the Lumbar Spine Through Manual Osteopathy
3- Management of Degenerative Joint Disease (DJD) of the Knees Through MAnual Osteopathy
4- Management of Cervicogenic Headaches Through Manual Osteopathy
The courses are offered online as well as in-campus at the York University Height campus of National Academy of Osteopathy.
The seminar fee is 50 EURO ($75 Canadian) per seminar. Seminars are presented by manual osteopath, Dr Shahin Pourgol.

Who Regulates Manual Osteopathy in Ontario, Canada?
The profession of Manual Osteopathy is not yet regulated in Ontario, Canada. However COMPO (College of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners of Ontario) has been set up to help in getting the profession regulated.
With 500 members (out of 700 manual osteopaths), COMPO has quickly become the largest manual osteopathic organization in Ontario (Canada).
